Pondering yet another something or other..... or something.

My mission is to replace my 120 spedo and 7K tach with a 140 mph unit and
8k tach.

The old system uses a Motometer circuit board. 
The new one will be all VDO. 
Looking at the plug connectors on the VDO board, it looks alot different.
Is it?
