Subject: Grinding, Scrapping noise on hard left hand turn what causes this?

When i turn out of a parking spot, u-turn or anywhere where i need to max out
the steering wheel i get a grinding, scrapping noise from the front end.
What could this be?  Wheel bearing, cv joint?

Thanks,
Matt

Matt, Did ya just put new tires on by any chance? My '81 wii scrape on the inner fender on lockes turns ie all the way left or right. Makes a nasty sound. Learned to not go full lock. Look a your inner fender and see if the undercoating/grime is scraped away where the tire would touch if turned full lock.

Might be it? If not give some more info and help could be on the way.
