Re: oil near distributor??

Instead of buying a new distributor couldn't those of us afflicted with this 
problem (me included) just buy a thin rubber gasket, fit it in place on the 
attached gasket and just crank down on the screws to seal it up???  I just 
bought a used distributor to solve the internal leaking problem but this one 
leaks around that distributor to block gasket.
