Warm stall problem
Here's the scenario:
Car = 85 8v US spec. Car starts fine when cold, no problem there.
But...after warming up to normal operating temp (100C oil temp, coolant
temp gauge halfway) if i turn the car off for a few minutes, then on again
(it's still warm of course) the idle is low (550-750 rpm) and when i blip
the accellerator, it'll rev up fine, then drop down past idle and stall.
But if i let the car run for a couple minutes before blipping, everything
is fine!
I've replaced the sparks plugs, dist cap, and rotor. (they needed done
anyway) That seemed to help for a week, but not anymore.
I'm guessing here, but could it be A) the auto-choke B) idle adjustment C)
cruddy injectors D) none of the above
Any help would be appreciated.
thanks,
-James
