Hi all 
I just got out of the garage it has been a long day.

I have some questions for you guys
1.  The engine in my new 16v has snapped a timing belt in a previous 
life and the guy replaced the head with one from a 2.0.  anyway there 
is an extra sending unit behind the head.  it is near the distributer 
but not the one under it.  It is on the back side of the head next to 
the exhaust port for cly 4.  I can't find any wire that goes to it.  
anyone?
2.  I have check my idle switch at the cise box harness and it is 
working but.... whenever the a/c is on the car idles at like 2k?  I 
have had this prob in the past but it was always fixed by adjusting 
the idle switch.
3.  someone in the cars previous life has messed up the fuba 
connection to the back of the radio.  usually fuba's have a small 
plug that you have to buy a $20 adapter for but this guy tried to 
make his own end.  He sodderd a big end on it but didn't realize the 
cable was like co axial.  so can I just get some cable ends at radio 
shack and splice in a good antena end.  I don't want to run a new 
fuba line.
4.  I have a bad inner tie rod end.  I am looking in the bently and 
they say that you have to take the rack out on power steering rack.  
I am not about to take the rack out.  pita. anyone have a trick for 
that.
5   On the wiring  to my knock sensor the wiring is a little cracked 
up  can I get away with taping it  or will it cause faulty k/s 
readings?  it is not near any connectors or anythign just in the 
staight shot were it rubbed against the tranney.
