Are you familiar w/ the book published by Bentley, written by Per Schroeder?  Something like...Sport Tuning Your Watercooled VW
How does the Raven book compare??  More technical info, how to procedures instead of just listing things that can be done w/o the steps on how to do it?

Yesterday, I got the updated version of Watercooled VW performance 
handbook. I was a bit too busy to do a thorough check, so I can't give a 
complete report yet. I also don't have anything to compare it to. But 
I'd be happy to give feedback if anyone has any questions about it. I'm 
excited to say the least.
