Re: what are the stock speaker sizes?
Heh after numerous experiments with 4x6's i've decided they all suck, so
what I ended up doing is cutting the stock speaker cover so that I could
mount a 4" in it (4"s are MUCH better sounding than oblong speakers if you
find the right ones) and then I put the cover that came with the 4" over
that - sounds odd, doesnt look perfect, but sounds great. I also mounted
some surface mount tweeters on the top of the doors, they practically look
like they were made for it. For the rear originally I cut the shelf to fit
some 6.5" speakers and they sounded ok but I wanted the sealed frequency
response so I built a plywood hatch box myself and put it all the way to the
back. Everything sounds great now, but I could use an amp for em.
