Huh. My '86 Scirocco's owner's manual said that it had a 13.7 gallon
tank.
And my Chilton agrees with it (we all know how much THAT means! hehe)
The older ones had somewhere right around 10 gallons, but I guess
everybody agrees with that.
I've definitely put about 13.5 gallons in my '86 at one point or another.
