WOB/MIME

Judging by the look of my last posting in the digest, I've been sending mail
in MIME format recently.  
SORRY to everyone... hopefully it's fixed now. I just upgraded to outlook
'98... need I say any more!
I've noticed that recently the amount of MIME stuff in the list is
increasing, thanks no doubt to Mr Gates and his wonderful software.  It's
kinda irritating having to wade through reams of junk in the digest. Is it
not the case that general list protocol is send everything plain-text, or am
I just talking outta my a*!e?  

Feel free to flame/agree/send letter bombs :)
