RE: My scirocco is FUBAR please help

I would first check that the fuel pump is going (you can use a short 
jumper wire to bypass the relay). If it still won't start then I would 
check for a spark. If it just cranks and cranks, without any hint of 
catching at all, then I think there is no spark. Check it and get back 
to us/
