ok...i know this may sound real odd, but i have a ringing sound coming
 from my tranny....it gets louder under higher acceleration.....

it's a 4k, mated up to a 16v engine (supposedly has the velocity limited
shift kit)......

any idea what it might be?....bearings going?....

tranny feels fine, other thatn being a tad notchy

does it sound like baled wire spinning around?

I hope this is not the case, but the last time I had this kinda sound, my tranny was on it's way out . . .
