shifter bushings

Does any tuner or aftermarket company make shifter bushings that 
are better than stock, say polyurethane?  I'd like to find some 
bushings that might be a bit stiffer and last longer than the stock 
bushings.  Are there any other ways of taking some of the slop out 
of the shifter?
