Not sure.  When I bought my car, they were wired up to the foglight switch
(and my car no longer has foglights, apparently they were there when owner
#1 still had the US bumpers).  I had them rewired to the high beam switch,
no now I get them along with the highs, which is how it sounds yours are
wired up.  I'm sure what you want can be done... somebody?
