RE: eibachs with boge progas: any BTDT?



I tried Turbogas with my H&Rs and there was even more bottoming-out than
with the Progas.  They are not the standard issue 'lowering' H&Rs which I
think are supposed to give 30-40mm drop.  They were rated 55-60mm and I'm
not even 100% sure that the spring rating is the same.  All I know is that
they were fine on the donor car, with Bilstein sports.  You live & learn!

You can get a lowering spring OR a stock height spring wich is a little
stiffer. I think you are refering to the springs in which you currently
have.

Little info on matching shocks with springs.

Stock height spring you use:
Boge Progas
Bilstein HD's
Koni (any) 
Tokico (any)

Lowered spring use:
Boge Turbogas
Bilstein Sports
Koni (adjustable) 
Tokico (adjustable)
