Front windows washer jets MK1

Mk1 8V/1977 Mono Wiper
Hello - Is it only me, or is it in fact impossible to get
a decent amount of cleaner onto your wind screen when
doing over 100 km/h.
I've been adjusting the jets endlessly (2 jets placed together
in the middle of the screen) but i seems that no matter how i
adjust them, when at 100 km plus,  the cleaner just hits the 
very low of  the screen dead center. No problems at standstill
- Plenty of pressure to shoot the cleaner way over the car. 
Anyone ?
