I live in the Twin Cities Metro Area of Minnesota, my experiences with
junk yards has been difficult. Dead Sciroccos are extremely rare, and if
you hear about one, you better get there fast. I needed a transmission
once, so I went to the local yard. They didn't have anything, and they
called all over...nothing. They finally found one in Utah, so I had to
pay to have it shipped here. My theory is there is a secret Scirocco
underground around here, and I'm wondering if any of you people hang out
on this list? I see you around, at increasingly rare intervals. You
always wave at me when we pass on the road. And when a Scirocco goes up
for sale, it never lasts more than a week. I know your out there. It
would be nice to talk to some of you, because mine is about to reach
"toy" status.
