I would still richen the mixture.  You could use a little more fuel.  
When I put my cam in it ran ok untill I cranked up the fuel.  It felt 
stronger at the top after I adjusted the fuel.

My car has the "JH" 1.8 litre.  My car does indeed have the
full-throttle switch on the throttle body.
