Paint codes

Somebody asked about an '88 VW color. I hit the paint book at work and
copied some codes for your use.

1987 VW colors (Westmoreland plant)

LE1T- Manila Beige
LE3T- Titan Red Poly
LE5C- Deep Cosmic Blue
LE5P- Lt. Blue Poly
LE7N- Flash Silver Poly
LE7P- Med Twilite Gray Poly
LE7T- Dk. Twilite Gray
LO4I- Black
LY3D- Tornado Red
L9OE- Alpine White

1988 VW colors (Westmoreland plant)

LAIN- Nevada Beige
LA5B- Marine Blue
LE3P- Red Mica
LE3T- Titan Red
LE5L- Monza Blue Poly
LE5M- Stratos Blue Poly
LE5N- Blue Mica
LE7L- Atlas Gray Poly
LE7M- Polar Silver Poly
LE7Y- Diamond Silver Poly
Black, Tornado Red, and Alpine White same as above. I know the Fox was
produced in Brazil, and if one of these colors isn't it, I can probably
find the color, as we have paint books going back to at least 1920, and a
computer dedicated to paint formulas. I'd just have to dig a little bit.
