Well.... since Verne brought this up, I thought I best reply...

"Scirocco Cruise '99" should have a great turn out!  The gathering on May
3, 1998, had 20 Sciroccos, plus about 20 other watercooled VW's.    We
expect a much larger turnout this year, and thus, will be looking for a new
location.  Having it at a VW dealer was cool, but we need more room!  

No official date has been set yet until a location is found.  It is going
to be in May.  I think Daun has been telling people May 22 & 23, so that's
what I will aim for when finding a location. The date is NOT set in stone
yet, though. Thoughts are at a local park so we will have a shelter and
plenty of room.  The local VW club did this for summer meetings, and it
worked out great.

And for the Canadians coming down, I'll find a 24 hour body shop and
medical center... oh wait...  I think Verne probably already knows where
they are <grin>

That's about all for now.  Guess I better get my act together and check on
locations.
