After installing mine I tried turning one wheel while someone held the
other and I would call the breakaway torque more along the lines of
40ft/lbs. I don't know how they think they can get 80 out of it...

It's a fun little mod. Every time I go around a corner on the throttle I
can feel it working, but it doesn't actually produce a lot of extra
traction. I can exit the corner faster and hold a tighter line, but it is
definitely NOT a Quaife replacement. It's not even a Quaife alternative,
really... but that being said I think it's a GREAT value at only $99!
