Most hp brakes work best when warm. This is due to the a heat resistant
compound to avoid fading

ATZI have repco metal masters on front and back on my car. I have not had
ATZany problems. I got them new for next to nothing, they might not be my
ATZfirst choice but they've worked great for me. I've had to hit the brakes
ATZin the rain when they're cold fairly hard and I've never had any real
ATZproblems.
