I used the old fuel pump power lead as the trigger for the relay, then had
a fused battery lead running to the relay to provide power when the relay
is triggered to the fuel pump....

basically exactly the same as stock, except instead of the coil lead
triggering it, I'm using the old power lead for the fuel pump.
