power mirrors

I'm sure all of you with power mirrors have noticed these mirrors tend 
to get kind of muddy looking over the years. It happened on my '84, and 
the '85 is no different. I've never even looked into replacing them, but 
the driver's side mirror is pretty bad. What are the best replacement 
options?
