Re: 2.0L engine FI brains

I am about to put a 2.0 16v in place of my 1.8 16v and am curious if the
motronic FI is in anyway worth the hassle it would be to change all the
wiring?  I have the old wiring harness and everything from a 92 gti golf.
Also if i decide to stay with the old 1.8's FI can i use one of the new
engines Knock sensors with the old brains?
