The difference in low end grunt is amazing, much more than you'd expect
by comparing the numbers of the two motors.

The engine appeared in late '90, early Passats had them (a Passat was
the donor in my car) and GTI/GLXs got 'em from late '90 through '92.

You do need to monkey with the FI - the Scirocco stuff is on the opposite
side of the motor.  But you can just transplant it onto the 2.0, no prob..
