sounds like the 5th gear shift fork isn't working it is only used to
push it into fifth. do ya know what I am talking about. I have seen
it go on 16v trannys

Tony

Have ya ever been druizing down the road and suddenly 5th gear stops
working?
RPM's zinged and I thought it slipped out of 5th. Tried to re-shift into
5th, -ZING.

So, I have 1-4 gears, there is no grinding noise (Even when im stopped at
idle and its in 5th gear. No, it doesnt move.)

There is no leaking so I dont think it exploded internally.

Anybody have this happen before?

Happy Birthday to me.
I have no 5th gear.
5,000 rpm's at 60 really suck-s.
Happy Birthday to me!

Always my luck.
