RE:16v Distributor



The oil seal on the rotor goes bad. Its a 16V thing. Unfortunately it requires
replacment of the whole distributer assembly shaft and all. The other culprit
could be the gasket in between the two. Mine was the rotor though and it worked
out to be cheaper to replace cap and all. HTH.

My recently acquired 1.8 head showed some signs of oil in the #3 plug hole 
above the plug like all over the connector and some oil in the distributor

Being a 8V guy I am at a loss as to what causes these problems and how to 
fix them...........anyone
