RE: Advice: Upside-down motor mount
it's funny that you mention this, because when i took my old one off, it
was upside down! those idiots that replaced it about 5 years ago put it
in upside down! do not install it like this. it is designed to work
under the weight of the engine, and if it's upside down, not only will
the engine sit lop-sided, it will pull the rubber out from the inside of
the mount and it will fail sooner. i'd take it back and show them that
they installed it wrong. even if they did it for free that doesn't
excuse the fact that they did it wrong. besides, if you need a new
mount, it's not free, is it... offer to pay them for the labor involved
but it is their responsibility.
