Re: steering wheel vib at 70mph??
New suspension and no alignment? For shame!
The VERY first thing you should do after installing new suspension
components is drive to an alignment shop and get it aligned. IF, after that
is done, you still experience vibration then have the wheel balance checked.
But, if it did not have the vibration before the suspension upgrade then
that is most likely the culprit.

Subject: steering wheel vib at 70mph??
88 16V before I begin, I just have new suspension put in all around, and
did not get an alignment yet b/c it drives straight..
BUT...as I hit 70mph, there's a weird vibration sensation that feels like
it's coming from the center of the steering wheel. Most noticable at 70-85
mph. It almost feels if I turn the wheel a bit to the left it's more
noticable versus turning to the right.
Q:
Is it an alignment and balancing issue? or
Something within the steering??
TIA
Rich
