Re: 1.8head on 2.0block?



well ive heard that the 1.8 head flows a little better than the 2.0, the
port design is better i guess.  Plus you get increased compression ~10.8:1
i think.  SOme people say that the 2.0 head is just as good though.  I'm
not sure.  I do know that the stock 2.0 makes 134 hp but dont have any
real numbers on what the 2.0-1.8 head combo makes.  This is what i would
like to know.  ANyone out there with this setup have some hp/torque #'s?
I guess an average i've heard is 150hp without any other mods and around 
165 with the basic mods(p&p, cam, exhaust).  There are enough people with
this engine combo that someone should have some numbers.
	I'm planning on doing this sometime this year too so any info
would be a big help.
