can say with every certainty if it had not been for all the great people I
have met through this list I would have dumped the car after the first trip
to the dealer for a inspection ($4000.00 repair estimate and a offer to tow
it to the junk yard for 50 bucks). Take example my move to Seattle, the
first day I was here I had dinner with 8 or so scirocco folks and was
encouraged to move out here. When I did finally move the day after my car
arrived I was on a cruise. I came across the country and had friends already
and a renewed drive to work on the car. If I can say anything for owning a
Scirocco....it has been a expierence.

Sure - collect them all!  ;)

I look at it as something that keeps me out of trouble for
the most part.  I really enjoy these cars, and they, nor I,
will be around forever - so I figure I'd best enjoy them
while I can.  I've had a lot of them in the last 7 years -
one or two I should have kept, and others I probably
shouldn't have bought to begin with.  But the best part
about them is the people I've met.  It still amazes me how
many of my closest friends I've met all because of a silly
little VW.
