I had two sets of 195/50/15's on my Mk1, one I needed spacers for and the
other I didn't, so it depends on the rim, but I imagine you are genrealy safe
with that size (195), the one I needed spacers for was an odd rim. I now have
205/40/16's and I need spacers no way around it.
