This site has some cool HP/ET calculators, plus a bunch of others
related to engine performance and tuning.

For example, at 2200 lbs and 110Hp (G-grind/Euro manifold,TT exhaust,
Audi Throttle Body...is that about right?), my Scirocco should 1/4 mile
at 15.80/86.29mph.

I thought I'd have some fun and see what it would take (HP) for a
2200lb Scirocco to run in the 12s 
answer: 198HP (12.99ET)

to run in the 10s: 327HP (10.99ET)
