brain for 16v

Hello,

Was wondering how the computer for the 16v goes. . . I
have a jetronic computer 811 906 264 C but am not sure
if it's the right one.  I also have a 811 906 264 A
but they look the same.  Can someone explain to me the
various iterations of engine control we have on these
cars?  I need to swap out the brain.
