A/C Puzzler

I talked with a former Scirocco owner who had the same problem I am having 
now.  My A/C seems to think that it is a mini distilation-plant, in other 
words, my passenger side floorpan is a swimming pool (at least it doesn't 
leak) .   I can't figure out where this water is comming from, but after a 
few weeks it starts to smell bad!  So how can I keep my car dry???
