Re: front wheel bearing question



You're right, i guess that tool is over $200.  I dont know why i had $120
in my head..
Anyway i do agree that taking to a shop would be easier, but i just hate
letting anyone except me work on my car.  It just doesnt feel right.  Plus
i have had bad experiences with my last car with mechanics fucking stuff
up.  And back home there are hardly any mechanics, let alone VW
specialists.  Here in Champaign there is a great VW shop,  but in
fairfield, iowa, well those fuckers dont know that VW even made a scirocco.
Also, what do you guys pay at a shop?  I think all the times i've had work
done it was around $40-50 an hour.
