If you cut the mounting points off where the compressor mounts and grind it 
smooth the alternator bolts right up. To compensate for the difference in 
belt line up you swap the top adjuster bracket on the alternator to the 
outside...cant remember if its outside or inside...but Ive seen it done on a 
couple 16vs....Bradley and Jareds 16V have the A/C removed this way.
