Scirocco w/ Targa Top

	There was an 87' 16v in a local auto shop being painted a 
pretty stunning metalic blue. The top had been completely chopped, 
had a body kit on it, euro bumpers and lights, custom interior, 
seats, wheel, pedals, shifter, etc. Absolutely gorgeous. I can go by 
the shop and track the guy down that did the work if you want me 
to... that was a couple months ago, so I may not be able to find him, 
but I can try. It looked amazing...

Subject: Scirocco with Targa Top.

Hey,

I've decided to cut the top off my scirocco.  I wanted to make it a
convertible but I think I'll tahe it once step at a time and cut the top
over the driver and passenger first.  I've got someone to reinforce the
chassis, but I would like some additional advice from people who might have
already done this or have looked into it.

I'm in the UK and should it work I'll share my finding with the group.
