Re: Scirocco with Targa Top.



Too cool!  I, have thought about doing this for years, ever since I started
seeing those mini-trucks with it done.  If you do it, please post pics of the
reinforcements as well as the overall view, and how well it turns out.

On a similar note, I took one of those street circular saws(the ones that they
use to cut through the concrete) and whacked a targa top into my buddies 197?
Datsun 210 wagon some 10 years ago.  We couldn't figure out how to use the
piece we had cut out for the roof piece, so we made a a soft top for it with
pop snaps for connectors...OK, so that's a little different as the car barely
ran, he had paid $400 for it, and we were all of 18 years old.  It still looked
pretty darn cool...
