Fw: Speedo
<x-charset iso-8859-1>Ok. heres something for your brain to chew on.. In NHRA, top fuel
dragsters, a few years ago, were making 4-5000 hp, going speeds around
290-300. now a few years later, they are pushing 7-7500 hp and going about
20-30 mph faster.. Here, you are talking over 2000hp MORE, yet only gaining
a few more miles per hour. I know your roccs arent in the same category,
but the rule still applies. It took 5000hp to move a rail car through the
air at 290mph. They had to gain 2000 more hp only to increase thier speed
by a little. Once the car reached its "velocity envelope" it took much
more to break out of it. The wind resistance increases by multiples at
higher speeds, making it harder and harderto move forward. Will a Rocco go
140? Probably. But at what expense? So I agree with Jonas on this one..

The longer you wait to turn around, the longer your ass will be pointing in
the same direction... Make a change..
