*Do not use a screw driver to remove an 8V's fuel injectors!* The O-ring
is on a narrowed shoulder of the injector and by using a screw driver you
may *snap* the injector... ...no good. You thought their tough to remove
before, HA. Buy the proper tool.
When I've replaced mine, I smear a small amount of high temp anti-seize
compound around the O-rings. This alleviates the removal problem in the
future...

Yah, I tried to pull them out by hand... not much room in there to pull
with.. if I could get better leverage with my arm I could probably pull
them
out...
I tried just 1 screwdriver.. I'm going to channel lock the main lug and
then
pry them out tomorrow when the engine is cold... that should help..
thanks,
mark

Heh heh You said tool.
If you can't just pull them out by hand,(I assume you have tried this
already, if the seals are bad they may just pull out,) go to the store and
get one tomorrow. If you are careful you may be able to use vice grips to
hold the injector and pry against the valve cover wiggling the injector a
little to get it out. Be careful not to damage the injector much. HTH
