    Try Autotech for three hole gage panels.  Not sure if they still stock
them but worth a try.  They have them for the stereo DIN opening and the
ashtray opening on MK2 Scirocco's.  They run about $25, not cheap.  May try
using some flat aluminum stock and paint it or polish it.
