a breif question for the list(not really that breif)

hey

underneath the car today and to my anguish in the corner of  my eye i see my 
left front wheel covered........i mean in a big way, by grease along with the 
caliper which had just been painted.  anyway to make a long story short and 
to ask a question without being mocked for sounding a little wet behind the 
ears, i beleive that is the strut leaking.....stock struts are filled with 
grease?  well if anybody feels like telling me please feel free to let me 
know.  a second opinion would be appreciated, especially because the car does 
drive seemingly fiine and i'd rather wait so i can do the right suspension 
job and spend what little cash that i do have
