I took my a/c out ages ago and have been running with just the longer alt
pulley, and the a/c (wrong) crank and water pump pulleys.  It works ok but
the belt is not lined up perfectly.  Since I have to change the timing belt
tensioner I'm going to switch over the pulleys too.

VW here does not have the non- a/c pulleys in stock.  They are a special
order he said would be "at least" $60 each.  A cheaper source would be
great.
