No, that's not what Inline-5 means. Inline 5 means that the cylinders are
5 in a row, as opposed to in a V. (Yes, VW has made a V-5. Strange, eh?)
The Scirocco/Rabbit/Golf/Jetta, etc are all Inline-4's, but mounted
transversely.
