vw part numbers

hey guys,

does anyone have a list of the codes used in vw part numbers
i *think* that the first 3 digits (of the 9 digit number) are for the
car model, like :
531 = LHD mk1 scirocco
532 = RHD mk1 scirocco
533 = LHD mk2 scirocco
534 = RHD mk2 scirocco

the 4th digit is the main group
the 5th-6th digits are the subgroup
and the rest is the part #.


what cars would 191 or 037 correspond to?

how do the letters that represent the model year work?
