Brake Conversion Questions

I have an 84 8v with vented rotors (I looked today). I know a guy with 10.4 
(or whatever the stock dia. is on a 91 16v GTi) Brembo Cross drilled rotors 
for sale and metalmaster pads for them. can I use the rotors and pads with my 
stock calipers? if not, what do I have to do?
