Rich to the rescue!

After ordering floor pans for a Rabbit for my 78 Rocco in Feb. form J.C. 
Whitney, they have still not arrived!  Fortunately, I live about 2 minutes 
from Rich Deede.....who volunteered the entire shell of his 87 16v!  I plan 
to cut out the floors to be welded into the 78 Rocco Turbo.....I just want to 
say thanks to Rich in a public forum, and to say that I'm sure many good 
things will come from the unfortunate theft of his car!  I've seen his new 
car, and it is nothing to be sneezed at!!  It is quick!!!  I followed him for 
about 20 minutes in my 95 Jetta GLS and he pulled very hard all the 
way.......I wimped out at times due to my new wheels........I'm very afraid 
of potholes!!  His car could have smoked  mine 2x over!!  But anyway, the 
moral of the story is.......there are still some good hearted folks out there 
who are willing to help us out with our beloved \X/'s!!
