A heated O2 sensor gets up to operating temp quicker, (it has to be hot
to do a good job) than a single wire one. This is why the ones near the
exhaust manifold were single wires were as the ones farther away were
designed to be "well not Pre", but heated.
Sorry that I don't have a brand name, but any good product would
advertise on the label that it won't affect the platinum in the O2 when
things begin to glow. Gotta check the fine print.
