scirocco 16v exhaust manifold?

So I am about to put my new 2.0 back in my car when I notice the exhaust 
manifold is just a little different then the 1.8's so I remove both manifolds 
and the 1.8's is cracked in 2 places so i think I'll weld it.... so I do and 
it is not to bad but i am wondering how long i can expect it to last and if 
anyone with a 16v that has or is going to headers wants to get rid of a good 
1.8 16v exhaust manifold?
But on a happier note the engine went in without too many problems, now i 
just need to hook up cooling and all those wire.... boy there sure are a lot 
of them!
